A global pandemic can decrease our motivation to keep moving. That’s why we love this real-life story from an Everybodys Gym user who’s been walking, cycling and even having personal training sessions outdoors through lockdown.
Steven had only been a member of the gym for 2 weeks before we were locked down again. We had gone through all our normal measures for a new member… we had a sit down to go over goals and how we could help. Steven decided to take advantage of our 18 visit free plan to get him started & one 30min boxing session a week.
After the news came through of the lockdown Steven gave us a call. He said he didn’t want to lose the motivation he had gained from coming to us and the courage it took to walk through the door. We added him to the facebook group and booked him in for an outdoor session once a week.
Steven “Being a relatively new member of the club i didn’t know what to expect from the team when we were locked down…. would they leave us to it untill they could reopen? The simple awnser was no! Adam booked me in for an outdoor session once a week and gave me goals to work on. Before i knew it i was seeing Adam twice a week, running twice a week and cycling at the weekend. This is a massive change for me and to achieve it all during lockdown is a testament to the guys at Everybodys Gym. My mindset has changed and i can’t wait to get back to the club in April.
